Belarc the first company to implement automatic IAVA status reports based on DISA's data feed
Maynard, MA, USA - 4 November 2011 -- Belarc is pleased to announce that Belarc's products now support automatic IAVM (IAVA) reporting for all Microsoft operating systems and applications. DISA and the NSA have just released a public mapping of IAVMs to CVE and Microsoft security updates. We expect that this data will be updated on a regular basis. Details are here: http://iase.disa.mil/stigs/iavm-cve.html
Belarc's products can now automatically use this data to create IAVM/IAVA status reports. No need to manually run scanners on each network. Belarc's products will automatically create IAVM/IAVA status reports on a daily basis.
Per a US Government source, Belarc was the first company to implement this new data feed into its products.
